He said it had a Slowboy Stage 4 Head which includes (port/polish, nitrated valves) … well after 24 hours of driving…
The turbo shit the bed, i didnt touch anything from the way mark had it. 21-22 Psi on pump ( the way he had been running it.) Well what was wrong with the turbo?? The exhaust wheel is gone. Not there at all, ill have to get pictures cause it is a site to see. Oh yeah, and when the manifold was removed, the head is definetly a stock 4g63 head… nothing that mark said it was…
So i bought a Evo 16g that was ported exhaust housing with a bigger flapper to fix the problem. Guess what happend to that? Shit the bed as soon as i tried to boost it, sounds like a damn cop car!
So I have been in the DSM world for 2 days… and already am on my second turbo from Slowboy. What ive learned, that mark is a fuck and Slowboy sucks at what they do…
you do realize that there are several people from Slowboy on this forum, right? have you brought any of this to his attention before just publicly bashing him on a public internet forum? I dont know the slowboy guys, but I know a lot of people on here do and Ive heard a lot of good things about them. So perhaps you could try and work these things out before trying to publicly sully the name of what is most likely a good company?
I have an idea: get one car running right before you buy another project with daddy’s money or use you magic on it to fix it harry.
talking to all of the slowboy guys they all are stand up guys. vaportrial, captain chaos, 1320, brokeasskorean all have turbos from slowboy with no issues. and on top of that mark’s little bro neil has a 20g from them with no issues with it at all.
sounds to me like you have no idea what you are doing much like 90% of the guys on supraforums
