Snap On/Mac/Matco is not needed for the shadetree mechanic. The Lowe’s Kobalt brand is a good choice for your needs. I’ve got a Craftsman Pro at home, and a Matco (that I got used) for work. Purchasing a Snap-On/Mac/Matco brand new is dumb.
