http://www.isocracing.com/NationalTour/Race-Schedule
heres the current schedule… subject to change, like everything else
Anyone know if / where you can get on the main trails from lancaster?
BUMP. Trails open in 7 days. Whose ready?
lol if we even have snow…
As well…
the only way i know of hitting the trails from lancaster is i ride the land behind my house and i can get to the threw was and ride the side of it right near genesee and harris hill. its illegal but i know alot of people who do it as well to get to the main trails
from where i live (walden near central/cemetary) its easiest to take the old railroad tracks, once you get to town line rd (and easy st.) you can take trails all the way out to springville and branch out even more from there… thats what i do with the wheeler
any of you snowmobile guys hear anything good or bad about a 1997 ski doo mach 1 700…
i found one that i can maybe afford but my job is killing me, but you only live once.
I also have a few more questions…
- how long roughly will the snowmobile be
- how much does it cost to register / insure a snowmobile
- will this be a good sled to learn / ride trails with
snowmobile from tip of the ski to back of the track is roughly 8’6’'. So if you have an 8ft trailer / bed you’ll be fine.
If your part of a club (which costs $20), i believe its $54 to register, dont remember exactly (vs something like $110 when not a club member)
Myself and my friend both got insurance from a place out near Holland for $46 a year basic coverage. I have an 01 srx 700, so I’d assume yours would be about the same price.
I’m assuming the old railroad tracks are that gravel path that goes under cemetery and past the junkyard on Ransom?
hm i have a 6.5 foot bed wit tailgate down probably 7.5 , i really only have enough money to buy the ski so im trying to find away to ride for the cheapest amount
I’m sure you will be fine with that bed. It’ll def. be a pain in the ass getting it in and out though.
You can use snow banks to get in and out of the tailgate from what I gather…I need a trailer or something to pull my 81 Polaris Cutlass SS 440. Thing is really light so it moves ok for the smaller engine.
Living in Eggerstville I don’t really have an easy way to get to any trials…I did however enjoy the total lack of plowing in the last couple storms…
Its 100 bucks if you don’t have a club membership, I got screwed on the insurance, 75 (for an 81? come on), gotta be my age/credit or something.
I’m 20 lol. The first quote i got was for $240. That place quoted me $46. Pretty rediculous. And those 4x8 trailers at harbor freight work great for sleds.
Geico wanted $1500 to insure my parents 3 sleds, needless to say they stayed with state farm where they pay ~500
