Simple idea, post up your sled and your location. I would like to meet up with some new people on the trails this year.
I am on an older 2001 MXZ600 for now… If I sell some more crack I want to trade it in for a REV chassis machine. Mostly ride trails around amsterdam, charlton trails, the great Sacandoga lake and the trails around there. Hopefully going for a few weekend rides up in VT too.
I walk past my SMR everytime I go into my basement, flick the throttle and go “brapp”.
I’m about to bring it up and just ride it in the cold, but I don’t want to put useless miles/wear and tear on the thing when I don’t have to. Besides, riding/stuntin’ alone gets boring after about 20 minutes or so…
Which reminds me, I need a sled, but I am a broke college student.
2000 Formula Z 700 twin. Newer 1.25" ripsaw track, repainted matte black cowl, added battery… thats basically it. My dad, my brother, my wife, and I are all members of Salisbury Ridgerunners so we usually hit up there during the year… great trails, and plenty of them.
i dont own a sled but i go up to sacandaga lake often. i have family that live right on ryder road with a huge house and a big yard FTW:number1
i will have to give you a shout when i go up
Yeah I feel like a dinosaur on my ZX chassis MXZ. lol what did you guys think of the early revs? like 04+ If I can save a $1000 and sell my 01 for $2000 I would like to pick up a 04 600 or so. I need something with more suspension, I ride hard and like to launch it and pound through trails, and the poor ZX chassis take a beating.
Come up to brunswick we got 9 sleds up here. 4 88-89 phazers (that we got for 75 each. they needed ~50 to be perfect) 1 brand new one and a couple in between. Last year i rode to hannaford in the snow storm to get stuff. 6+" and all roads become sled heaven. :excited
