Snowmobiling, where do you go?

qft

Strict my ass. It the only place ive ever been where i was dragging with a encon officer across a very large open field…130mph is mighty scary when all your doing is holding on to handle bars!

But normally when we had our sled we would ride in Salisbury Center. With the Salisbury trail riders. Awesome group of people out that way. We rode one day for 10 hourswith out hitting the same trail once.

what sled do you have that goes 130mph?

apex 1000???..in sure the a/c 1100 turbo cud do it too…if you had a place to do it

screw snow:

that doesn’t look like the resivour to me???

Its not, its Brick Pond in Elmira NY back in 2007 when I used to race semi-pro watercross. I gave it up at the beginning of 2008.

no my g/f lives in broadalbin and friend of mine live in ft. johnson near rt 5

2005 Polaris XC SP 800 with pipe, jetting and clutch kit.

My old indy 680 did just a bit over 100 mph last year.

Andrew, Frank and I will prob be heading up your way to ride this year for a bit.

oh yeah i plan on doing alot of riding this year…

whats cool about that ? that takes no skill, any sled that can do over 40 can do it

the apex aint doin 130 without serious gear and clutch work ,my ol pro x 800 would only do 120 and that was with gear ,clutch ,exh and can.the a/c 1100 is good for a bout 100 even turnin up boost ,meth inj and gears only help it come out of the whole better wit better mid .

my uncle went 70mph in his old Johnson Rampage, shortly after that he blew a cylinder and lost compression. haha

yeah 130 is def pushing it for a stock sled…i wud say 115-120 is feesible only b/c ive had my buddys f8 sno pro up to 114…that was in powder so it could have been thetrack slipping but i was def moving…duanesburg airstrip

I’ve had my formula z up to 110. THats a stock 700 twin. This past year I could only get it up to 100 b/c my RAVE valves were clogged. My uncle and I were racing up Sacandaga with him on his F7 firecat. I kept up with him right up until I hit the 100 mark and then he kept pulling. Gotta get the sled cleaned up and fix the RAVE valves for this season. Cant wait!
