I went to Fichte. The cost came to $3,000 and some change, but my eyes were extremely bad, blind without my glasses or contacts pretty much. Insurance only covered $400 per eye, but it was still better than nothing. Lasik is by far cheaper, but it depends if she’s a candidate for it. PRK is more expensive because they have to custom program the laser for your eyes, but it gives the most accurate correction IMO.
My vision is at 20/15 now, they were very impressed that it got that good, they only expected 20/20 or 20/25/
Guys who had eye surgery do you have any problems at night? Two of my buddies had it done years ago and both of them noticed being more sensitive to light. One had it down in Canada and the other was local so its not form the same place, but again they had it down a good 6 years ago so im sure procedures have gotten a lot better.
