x2 Love the color as well.
I’m a guy. 10AE comes with all of the upgrades of the Sport edition. Love the monsters, but there’s nothing like a stock miata with the sport bits to really feel like a little sports car.
Says the guy that wants an X3
A better argument would be to look at my other threads and know my DD now is a sunfire.
haha word, either way, swap swap swap
v8 booo. worthless
rotary miatas = track MONSTERS
nice purchase! it’s perfect as far as miatas go, imo
Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys!
My gf wants one lol… seriously though, looks great and I’d love to test one at watkins after driving my eclipse
Even with the Limited Slip diff, the ass was real slippery on the 290 tonight. Gonna have to invest in some snows, methinks. =p
And I don’t really care about the “chick car” attitude towards the miata - every time i rev to 6.5 and remind myself that this is the stock setup, I just grin.
I feel slightly better about how I fared on the road now that I heard that the 290 is closed from the 190 to millersport due to all the accidents from icy roads - two slippery slides that I controlled, and I made it through fine … makes me feel better about my own winter driving =p
 mod it, auto-x it
Maybe it’s just me but is WTF is up with all the cf in that miatas engine bay. Does it serve a purpose?
If ricers have taught me anything, it’s that there’s never enough carbon fiber, anywhere. Evar.
XD I’ll keep it good and stock for now, but autocrossing is definitely on the list. Mods when I get a new job and can afford them =p
edit that was in no relation to the picture of that miata. I think that thing looks totally sex. And must fly like a mother. When it’s running.
I really want to know.
Oh. lol. The hood would be primarily for lightness, while generally those panels under the hood would serve to direct air so as to best cool the radiator, engine, and turbo/intercooler(s). On the other hand I’ve never seen so many panels under the hood of a car and it could be for appearance reasons, neatness and such. Don’t see any intakes in the hood that would force the air in any specific direction, so I’d assume mainly cosmetics.
The miata doesn’t need nearly the airflow as the rx7 does (I assume that’s a 13b from an rx-7 … could be wrong though) and so it isn’t designed quite as the rx7 is as far as cooling goes.
I’m sure it serves a purpose but damn.
cool purchase, I have always had a soft spot for these, and a hardtop is much less :mamoru:.
LOL I just love the coupe look, for when I can’t drop top.

edit Or if those don’t work…
I suppose a modded rotary Miata would be better than a modded rotary RX-7…
… since it would be lighter when you’re pushing it off the track and towing it home on a trailer.
I’m surprised it took 5 hours before someone had to throw a jab at the rotary comment :meh:.
