Let me talk you into tuning this. I’ll discount it a fair bit.
I might take you up on that in the fall around bonus time.
have to at least get a tune and mk6 gti flat bottom wheel with paddles (direct swap.) would transform the car.
That wheel is pretty badass.
that is badass, out of curiosity how much work was it to make the paddles work?
I have this wheel in my MK6 GTI and just love it. Its soo good.
Do it then you can love DSG too. Its amazingly different to drive with the paddles.

Its likely just checking a box with VCDS after the physical wheel swap.

From what I just read you go into VAGCOM and just enable them.

Change the 5th digit from a 1 to 2
You know what… screw you guys. I wanted to just leave this thing alone and drive it. lol
I have a vag com and live in Williamsville if you ever need it…:stickpoke:
There is probably a handful of fun things to enable / disable / reconfigure.
I spent a couple nights screwing around with my MK6 the week after I brought it home.
I used this for a rough guide, Im guessing many would apply to the CC as well, or maybe there is a similar CC list floating around. If you have auto wipers you can tweak the sensitivity and timing. Hell if you dont have them, but you have the box on the windshield you can enable them. We did this on my buddies '12 Passat TDI.

Can we take this VAGCOM talk down a different road for just 1 minute?
I have a 2011 a3, great commuter car. One of the things I totally hate about the car though, is the fucking recommendations that pop up on the dash constantly
*windows open, wind resistance, close windows. FUCK YOU
*downshift to help with braking FUCK YOU
etc.
Can vagcom turn these off completely?
Not my daily
And the other vag product is new enough to still be reliable.
I also own a bicycle so I should be okay.
That is amazing.

Guess I better go sign up on vortex…
Any other brand specific sites I should check out?
The one I HATE but still havent looked into is the wailing beep if you shift into gear with the door open, god forbid. It doesnt stop after you close the door or shift to park either. It does its preset number of obnoxious beeps every time.

It’s amazing when I’m doing 80 on a sunny day and want the windows open. The car has to tell me once a minute that it’s a fucking wind resistance issue. It’s also fun when I want to downshift for whatever reason and I get a gear change warning that pops up. There’s more. They are all fun.
For the life of me I cannot turn these off from in-car setting screens. I took a quick look at your link and I don’t know if it will help me. I’ll look closer when I’m home later.
interesting. I was imagining having to add some wiring or something cause the car didn’t come with them. That’s pretty cool
I didnt’ see anything on there to help with your issue in particular. But that is the most complete list of tweaks you can make.
