So, my dad just bought a pool hall...

pfft. i’m too cute to be punched in the face. hahaha.

I’m deciding whether or not this makes up for you selling your bike…

either way, i enjoy pool, and will most certainly make an appearance at some point

nice. are you allowed to bring beers? its an odd question but I’ve been to pool halls that don’t have liquor licenses that let you bring beer long as you’re cool about it

nice…places like these are a thing of the past, the one in blasedell closed as well as the the one in south buffalo, too bad its a hike

I play there with a friend about once a week. I suck…who want’s to give me lessons so I can then hustle the said friend out of some $? LOL

Nice tables and a nice quiet atmosphere. Hopefully It don’t turn into a classic cue type of joint. That place has been so mobbed it’s hard to concentrate. I like the smaller hall.

good deal guy… no more brick bar nasty ass pool table

It was pretty sweet when that place got busted for having holdem tournaments for cash

How many tables are in this place?

Sweet, that place was a shit hole. I work 2 doors down at Benjamin Moore. So if you need paint stop in, I do 10% off for NYSpeed doods.

damn you beat me in here… :frowning:

i did a pool league once in the village (nyc).
No idea how far Clarence is from where I live now, but I’m definitely interested and would do some sort of NYSpeed tournament even though I suck

Im down for some poker tourny’s.

Ya if we can play here I would setup a tourney every week.

So, how exactly do you hold a poker tourney without any cash prizes? LOL

does it have BEER???

did you READ???

not in first line no care…

really I got to “Located” and said BEER

Its doable. We used to at my parents bar in Rochester a few years ago.

The bar can not be open or accept any business so no buying drinks or food or anything. Also, the bar can not take a cut or ante from any buyin or prize. Its just big in the NY State eyes that the poker can not be a reason for the business to make money. If they shut it down and let us play off hours, no one will get in trouble. If they offer to sell beer or food during the poker game or take $5 from every buyin, Bad news.

I really don’t remember their being any “poker tables” in that place. Maybe an investment can be made?

dear shrives,
i will never step foot in that place for as long as you have anything to do w/ it.
ps. suck it
