Yea good call not getting a gasser 3/4, I have a 6.4 power stroke but iv worked on a ton of duramaxes and the lb7 is a solid motor. Good choice over an LLY in my opinion. Have fun, I love my diesel!

Yea no emissions crap was a big plus for me should get decent mileage even being a big hoss truck.

What years you looking at? I was looking at 02-06 with like 60k on them for under or around 20k. Drove a couple just hated how I fit in them plus the power just wasnt there in them for me. Drove a dmax and a powerstroke one after another and knew I wasnt getting a powerstroke after that.

I’m looking for an 08-10 with the 6.4… Really don’t want a 6.0, because the 6.4’s just make stupid power. Emissions are 99% of the problem with the Fords. What did you end up getting for your trade in?

I sold my gasser to my dad. But I was getting offers from $15k - $18k

I programed and deleted my 6.4 and it hauls! with 35’s and a 3 inch lift it ran a 9.0 at Lancaster with a shit launch

im at 128,000 now, its been a great truck, I just make sure to keep up on maintence. ams-oil oil changes, trans flushes, fuel filters, yada yada. one problem I had was the radiator leaking. its a common 6.4 issue but mishimoto makes a great replacement(but there not cheap!) ford and the aftermarket ones are all right around 1000…so check that out good before you buy anything

Filthy habits stack style! (I understand if you don’t wanna cut your bed up) I drove a newer 2010 dmax and it had no power IMO, I perfer the 7.3 powerstroke you would of been happy with that. Solid pick up tho!

Well I just got a PPE Standard Xcelerator for the truck tossed a tune on it and WOW whole new truck. This is just a hand held tuner but from everything Ive seen its about the best out there for my truck. No gauges or anything like that so ill be buying an EGT and Boost gauge ASAP.
