Mine is put away and I will sell it come spring time.
mines also gone for the winter, although it will make an appearance this weekend it will be its last for the year
mine is outside but pretty much done for the year…it might get trailered to a friends house so i can instlal the block but other than that im hopin not to see snow in it
for what? getting vette rims?
my T/A will make the trip through every snow this year … again maybe someday i’ll afford a second vehicle…
the bike has been put away since the first of November
idk what rims, but I have NEVER liked chrome rims, and i still have my old salad shooter rims wtih tires, soo ill be riding on those bad boys for now
Mine is going to be put away in the next couple days as soon as i put the gas tank straps back on, fire her up and pull her into the garage…
I still got to hook up the battery tender on the bike and run some stabilizer through the tank. I think this past saturday was the last ride for it. Just have to pick up a front stand and up it goes.
Have to decide if I’m going to pull the plastics and have them painted over the winter while I work on the engine stuff. :dunno:
Mine has been tucked away for the past week or so. Not by my choice but what can ya do?
What does everyone recommend as far as prep for winter time? I thought I’d be storing my rig in a garage this winter but its not lookin so good for that option. What should I do if I have to store it outside?
car cover and put it on jackstands so the tires don’t sit on the ground.
what about the fluids inside?
Change out the oil reguardless if you haven’t already so the aicds don’t harm the internals. Fuel stabilizer if you havn;t done it as well. :dunno:
John, talk to Gregg about a self storage… Thats what I would do if absolutely necessary… There’s no way after all the time and effort you’ve put into that truck that you should leave it outside for the winter.
i’m in the same boat, but to be safe I’ll say by next summer
gto’s supposedly go good in the weather
My black hatch is pretty much parked. Might get it out one more time just to go for a drive.
The beater has new winter tires ready to bust through some drifts and I have the winter tires (knobbies w/ drywall screws) ready for the WR.
I am buying a new fun car on Saturday!!!
Then probably putting it away for the winter.
Sold my Typhoon then I got my TA registered few weeks ago. Drove it like 4 times. Now it is away for the season! Short year for it!
