I am still doing lots of research on my kae turbo project and had some question. Hopefully someone can give me some answer.
Will it be possible to use the same turbo extension and sr downpipe for a ka-t setup? I honestly don’t see why not but can someone confirm?
Another question is regarding the sohc motor; I heard the sohc motor came with 2 different compression, 8.6:1 and 9.1:1. Is there anyway to tell? Comming to my point, I was told that using a thick head gasket such as a 1.2mm can help lower the compression in order to boost the kaE. Does anyone know how much lower will the compression be?
I was planning on also replacing the head gasket and utilizing some studs from ARP, I was under the impression that all these can re-used when I decide to install some forged piston later this year.
