My friend Dave moved back to texas and gave me his winter car he bought up here to sell. The car was originaly automatic, these cars did not come as standards in the US. He did the swap himself and he helped me with my swap on my 300ZX which motor/tranny wise is the same car. The only problems with the M30’s swap is that reverse lights do not work and spedometer needs to be hooked up (needs new speedo sensor)
The car is in great shape for its age, the body is not rusted at all except for dings in the paint (see photos) , the paint is not to bad just needs a good cleaning and a buffing if you choose to. I may have the car cleaned and detailed to the best of my abilities if I get the time.
The interior is tan leather, its not in good condition, it looks like somone let their cat in it. You could probably find decent seats cheap at a junkyard for it or just put seatcovers on them, suprsingly they are still comfortable.
The motor and tranny are great, the motor is a 3.0L VG30E and its RWD , same motor as the 90-96 300ZX just SOHC instead of DOHC, and its the same motor as my 89 300ZX. The motor runs strong, has had a tuneup a new radiator with electric fan put on, but the A/C is removed The clutch in the trans probably has about 4kmi on it seeing as he did not drive the car that much, he lived on campus and my house was the furthest he drove which is maybe 15 miles a couple times a week.
The car has 186kmi on it as you can see from the pictures but she still runs great, VG30’s are amazeing motors.
The tires on the car are brand new, the suspension is still good and is electronicaly adjustable, not completely sure if it works.
As I stated before the spedometer does not work, I’m not sure if the cable for the spedo is still there but if it is I will hook it up if you request, if not I can give you the RPMS and what speeds they are.
here are some pics, sorry they are not better but do to rain I was to lazy to back it out
I do have a shift knob for it:
Asking $800 B/O
