if you have someone else interested tell them if this other guy doesnt come by the 27th you’ll sell it the 28th

ill call the dmv mon and see what they say…but as for geting fined the town does not care if it is for sale its still unregistered, i tried that one. well we will see what happenes, and Maximus33 i didnt know u called you should have said u were from nyspeed

its ok I called then my brother called 2 minutes after me that one day remember? You said your g.f was looking for the title and the car was sold :frowning: That was 3 weeks to a month ago maybe I dont know. Too bad I already bought another car I wanted that cav

i dont think that was me bro, i only put it out front of my house and on craigslist within the last 2 weeks

well my delema is because it is unregistered if it is not out by the 28th because i already have 2 unreg. on my property i will be fined $350. I tried to contact him but all i know is his first name and i cant read his sig

Someone else ran into this dilema, i think you can have unreg cars, if you are trying to sell them… put some forsale signs on them

I know for a fact in Amherst that a car can be unregistered on a property if it is in the process of being sold. I dont remember the actual legal speak of it, but to avoid getting fines we would just go buy a “For Sale” sign and put it on whatever side of the car faces the road. Thus its “Pending Sale”, i got away with this for over a month at my house, and boardjnky4 used it for longer than that.

dont know where u live, but the guy gave us our warning slip and told us to our face that we could have them there as long as they were pending sale and NOT massively diss-assembled.

I can imagine Tonawanda being much different.

im in wheatfield and they dont care if its for sale, the town guy lives 2 houses down and turns us in all the time

Wow… Nice neighbors?

how about u can store it in my driveway for $50 a day or a max of $500 total…then once that runs out via ten days re-sell it lol

you have to hold the car for a “reasonable” amount of time even though you both agreed verbally on a 24hr agreement by him stating that he will pick it up the next day and you not disagreeing with this show agreement. I would hold onto it for a month, he doesn’t show re-list it again.
