This is a beat beater. But it is an AWD, it works, D makes it go forward, R reverse, right pedal makes it go faster, left pedal slows it down, the round thing makes it go left & right. Drivetrain (engine, trans and AWD) pretty good, has some suspension clunks, clanks, rattles. I haven’t bothered identifing what the noise(s) are but I’m not going to have you drive out here to look at it before disclosing that you should expect to put a couple bucks into it.
Some rust, not rusted to shit, I dunno, I’d give it 2-4 years before that happens.
REMOTE START. Interior is really good. A/C does work.
Tires are o.k shape no brand all seasons, ~6/32nds.
Has an inspection sticker that will get you to June.
Depends, do you want to buy a beater and make it ride and sound like new or not. The cheap answer is just drive it. I know the brake pads are missing the backing shims so they rattle. I am sure a sway bar end link needs attention.
My mom was driving this thing 70 miles a day and drove it 250 miles to drop it off and switch rides. There is no slop in the steering and the tires don’t show abnormal wear.
Just take it for a test drive, his some pot holes, grab my floor jack and then throw me an offer. I think the price is low enough that you could buy it, throw $500 at and still have a great winter ride for cheap.
