Well over the summer I got some R32 GTR brakes. So I cleaned and painted them up and they look HOT!! They are a tight squeeze behind my rims, but they do fit, I can’t wait to try them out!
(excuse the poor quality of the camera, it’s just a digital video camera taking stills)
And heres a few shots of them next to my old brakes. These are from a S13 SR20DET (see above for size).
And my favourite shot…I LOVE the air gap on these things!
The pictures just don’t do them justice…THEY’RE HUGE!!!
And a question:
Which way do I want these facing? Do I want them to curve to the front of the car or towards the rear?
I still haven’t checked out what my brakes might be, but they do look upgraded.
On the caliper, about the nissan writing it has the numbers “550”, anyone know what brakes I might have?
Here’s a link I found on google, basically has the same info you have except it includes a couple of pictures. http://www.sr20tuning.com/brakes.html
I don’t understand…are you posting my findings beside your findings? Because I know skyline GTR rotors are alot thicker than only 18mm!!! I have a set in my garage and the info posted in correct. If you have another source with different information I would love to see it so post it up!

Thats front and rear brake rotors.
I checked the Stagia set up and te rotors have a diffrent offset than the Z32 and R32. Good if you are running the 2 piston caliper as they are the same size as the Z32 but you cant use the Z32 Caliper or R32 Caliper with the Stagia Rotor. Just tried. BTW I totally understand that your pictures dont do justice. GTRs are WIDE!
I can’t wait to get them on my car. You guys have your silvias out of the garage yet? I might pull mine out tommorow, not sure yet. I want to and I have allready put all my suspension back in and got her ready to start up…but the roads are covered in gravel and we might still get another snow.
All I need to do the brakes is some brake fluid!!
