To recap, I noticed the first set stolen from the truck bed, called police to notify but didn’t file a report because I figured they’re gone forever, a few days later realized second set (the ones in the Craigslist ad) were gone as well, and I didn’t bother to call it in.
Turns out there were other break-ins on the street as well.
I did call Mechanicville police today, will be stopping by tonight with information from my favorite internet person, JDaniels.

Yeah this sucks. My wife had the muffler stolen out of the bed of her truck after it fell off on her way home. The asshole scrap guy came down the street late at night and nabbed it. Brand new muffler that fell off due to a loose clamp. At least it wasn’t wheels…
I’ve lived in stillwater most of my life and if this gentlemens name is any indication of what ethnicity he is then you won’t have any trouble finding him. There is legitimately like maybe two African Americans who live in stillwater.
