2006 Black Magic Pearl GTI with DSG
27k on it. Came in on a 2 year lease. I came in the same day and the rest is history. 2nd time I got a car there the same day it was brought in.
I’m extremely happy with the car as a DD. Much better on gas.
Sunroof, 6 disc, and satellite radio are nice features I didn’t have in my old car. The increase in car payment is worth it IMO. I get 4 years of bumper to bumper, and then an extended warranty to 100k after that.

Not doing much of any modding to the car. Flash tune and coilovers at most.
Priorities are elsewhere (i.e. money being spent, saved in a better SMARTER fashion.)

Definitely. Small things is all. Front plate will be gone, but traded some of my parts from my old car for some body work in return. The tune will be cheap at waterfest so it’s worth it to get that there and call it quits. I have a new direction I’d like to go with cars, and modding this just isn’t it. after all, it’s just a volkswagen.

what do you think of the DGS tranny? ive been considering buying a compact again just because of the DSG.

The DSG, in all honesty…I LOVE it. It’s soooo much fun.

Sedlmeier- it wasn’t a speed trap but there was a cop going by the other direction a few seconds after that pic.

I drove DSG before i bought my gti. I loved it…but I missed the 3rd pedal

the 3rd pedal loss is kinda meh for me. I know I’ll have a 5 speed car soon to toy around with still.
