some pics/vid of my bimmer w/updates(56k no way)

damn thats rough, but you always figure it out eventually

Your car makes me miss my E36.

Hope you get it all sorted out soon. Thats a monster. What does it weigh in at?

I dont have an ebay clutch in my car? what are you talking about don? just because you have never heard of clutchnet doesnt mean its ebay. I have put this clutch through tons of abuse and it still holding the power strong. I think im having slave/master issues. Just a FYI, the pressure plates are manufactured by LUK. everything is manufactured in the USA and if/when my clutch does wear out i can send it back to them and they will rebuild it for me with new friction surfaces on my flywheel and pressure plate for about 1/2 the price of a new clutch kit. The clutchnet clutches are by far better quality then about 90% of performance clutches out there. This clutch has held over 600ftlb of torque with the 6button and id be willing to bet alot more now that im runnin the 3puc.

WAH WAH WAH sorry you big cry baby I thought you were still running the ebay joint from a few years ago. You’re still cheap. :stuck_out_tongue:

He is so cheap he won’t run the heat even if I pay for it. LOL

Now one of you come fix my braking issue!

this is the same clutch from a few years ago. Ive never used an ebay clutch.:frowning: yes this clutch was cheap then many other options ($550) but i get sick and tired of paying the bmw tax. If this clutch fails i will be looking into a twin disc or something similar. But i just dont see this clutch failing anytime soon unless i realy start turning up the boost juice. oh, and i hate you.

ill fix your brakes if you take me for some BBQ.

oh and a side note i fited up some 275’s today and they just barely clear on the one side, ill have to try the other side tomorow to see what modifications will need to be done.

^all u need is a pipe, inflate your tires to about 50psi, and go to town.

god i love the sound of a straight 6!

u better get the trans issue fixed before may 7th

not looking good bud. Still cant figure it out.:frowning:

well, ive been busy over the past few weeks however i have been able to get the car out some and attempt to have some fun with it. I was having clutch issues so i went back to my old clutch setup for now till we can figure out what is wrong with the current setup.

anyway made it to the dyno only to have the clutch slip on me horribly and cause alot of headache.

got me some 265/40/18 mickey thompsons so help keep things in check on the street. clutch is holding sofar with my curent wastegate low boost setting. Ill be turning it up soon cause now that i have traction the car feels slow to me.lol

having some fun last sunday.

Cars is awesome but I dont know if you should have your full name on those vids. Just looking out for ya.

didnt even notice that, fixed/

This car is fucking HOTTTTTT

hmmmm, i guess i should update this incase there was anyone following my builds. After all the headache over the clutch issue last year it turns out that my old clutch line was soo hardened and dried out that it wasnt flexing at all. so this acted like a hard line. so when i freshened everything up over the winter including the clutch hose to a fresh one the hose was growing everytime i pushed the clutch. a custom hydrolic line from ferry fixed the issue and i was back to breaking trannies in no time.

i ended up making some good numbers at spinas last year. (rip pat) :frowning:

made some mistakes and learned some lessons. 10mm studs arent realy cutting it anymore. poped the headgasket once pushing 100oct and then after that was pushing coolant. but still managed to finish the year. fresh OEM gasket is on there now and zero leakage issues so far. if and when it starts pushing coolant again ill be tearing the motor out and getting 1/2 headstuds machines/installed.

best runs of the year.

Then went out to MIR and broke a whole bunch of stuff. :frowning:

was a bad day at MIR, intercooler coupler wasnt tite, so i was running way below boost at first and then when i got it sorted out tranny started acting up and then driveshaft exploded and the end result was a torn to shit subframe that i welded up but will be replacing asap.
