Naw, doesn’t ruin the photo, it keeps from cutting off certain parts of the subject. If you take a shot of your car, cutting off the roof of the car in the shot creates an odd perspective. If you get the whole flower then everyone can see the whole subject, unless you are going for a detail shot, then thats a different story.
Nothing wrong with taking pics of flowers adam. I have tons of pics of flowers. They look good. We should def get a camera meet going and I’ll give everyone some basic pointers.
I esp like the last pic because of the bokeh (new term for yas) which is the background blur. It does look to be a bit out of focus though.

Anyways looking at grabbing a Nikon D40 or a Nikon D200 from my uncle…
Personaly I can get the D200 cheaper but everything I’ve read says the spec between the two are very similar in terms of quality but the D40 is smaller only 6.1 MP and has more newbie options and less 1337 options…
Which Ive been using film SLRS for years with my uncle/dad but for a DSLR I want something small and kinda newbieish
