Just recently picked up a new Canon Rebel XS DSLR. Only using the standard Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens. Still very new to the whole photography thing, but I am not using “Full Auto” mode. I’ve been using “P” mode and it seems to be working alright for me, although I don’t really know the difference other than I’ve been adjusting the white balance myself accordingly and the ISO. Also, I’m also not too familiar with editing, but did some minor editing on a couple of these pictures.

I’m no photographer but the first pic the light on the house kind of draws your eye away from the object being shot. And the first pic of your car has too much going on in the background. Other than that they look good!
Yeah, now that I look at it the 1st picture the light is very bright on the house. I’m sure that’s something that can be taken care of with adjusting the exposure, maybe?
Thanks, and yeah the lens is pretty basic considering I’ve used Nick’s(AMD IS THE BEST) xxmm-200mm zoom lens and his other baller lens’. But I’m just gonna work with what I have, not really into dumping a few hundred on another lens. Maybe down the road.
Hey, I do what I can :lol
I got 'em. I’ll post them in your thread tomorrow AM.
