DSLR boredom

I finally got my first DSLR after always using CFD’s on any shoot i went to.

here are just a few since i was bored today. no editing was done and like i said im just learning how to use the camera, very new to me since its a canon.

let me know what you think

Canon?! Dan is not going to be happy :lol

I really like the “new music” one, with the car hiding off the side almost.

Lol yeah dan said canon sucks big balls but I got it anyway since I got a good deal for it on black Friday and a cheap 50 -250 lense

Thus far I’m happy with it just gotta get together with dan when he shoots more stuff so I can practice

come practice on my car

i dont know if i can handle the yellow lol

which one did you get? i just got in the mail the t2i rebel from canon, love it so far but still learning how to use it also

i got the t3, i should have gotten the t2i but it was a few hundred more expensive from what i remember

Nice, welcome to the canon family. You will definitely be able to take some nice pics with that. Keep shooting and save your pennies for some nice glass now, good luck with it!

thanks ! hopefully it serves me well, i have had nothing but shitty digital cameras so i hope this one i can keep for a while.

speaking of lenses there are a few really good deals out there but i cannot afford them due to lack of income and holidays coming up but i figured i would pass this link along to anyone inetersted in new glass for canons ( maybe ill buy it from them eventually lol )

looks like they give a good blur for the background which is what i want but do not have funds for at the moment

edit i did buy a 50-250 lens but nothing special

Have you considered the 50mm 1.8 from Canon. It has long been touted as the must have budget lens for its sharpness and wide aperture. Also super handy for shooting indoors or low light. They go new for around 100 on most major camera sites.

since i just got the camera i really havent, i spoke with dan ( cfd ) and he told me also that i should grab one of those but the zoom lens was on sale with my camera purchase ( 150 bucks off ) so i picked it up and hope to grab the 50mm one later on since they are usually pretty cheap and no need to wait for a sale

dooh! … cant say i didnt tell you so

I would’ve bought the nifty-50 over the 55-250 any day of the week.

The yellow will be a good test! Hahah

I may have a 50mm I could sell you for a good price.

Juggling between a D90 with extras, or a D7000… Its all you photo guys faults.

D3X.

$1000 budget Jim. Im not looking to outgun the great CFD, or impressive KBB here :lol

hmm i can always return the zoom lense i got and get myself the other one … maybe i will

Which zoom lens did you get? If the 55-250IS is the one you got, that’s actually a pretty decent starter lens.
