Some Tint Help

I did a search and really didnt find what i was looking for.

I am looking to get my car tinted, i talked to Chaz and he sounds great but i was just looking for a few options closer to home. I was wondering it anyone knows any good shops south of Pittsburgh.

I have a Black on Black 06 330xi and i am only looking to go 35% or so.

Also over at the bimmer forum alot of guys get their cars tinted with ceramic tint. Supposedly, with the comfort access package metallic tints can mess with the keyless entry. Does anyone have any thought on ceramic tint? From what i have read, it is a little lighter, but blocks out more and is more expensive than metallic tints.

“My Best Friends Detail Shop”, he is in the yellow pages. Really don’t have to have an appointment. Located in Greentree(south of the city). Good prices, good tint, good work. Lifetime warranty.

Trust me going the extra bit for chaz is worth it. Great guy, great work and great cs.

There is a guy down on Rt. 21 called Zorro’s, or something like that. I wouldn’t get tint done anywhere else. I haven’t found a car yet that he can’t do the rear in one piece…

true that i just got mine done in 5% from him.he does a great job.

I know this guy personally, Does really good work! But make sure he is going to one piece the back window! He is old school, and has been known to still two-piece a back window…

I first saw him tint back in 98, and he had been doing it long before that!

I’d use him if you want to stay on that side of the city, if you’re willing to cross over to the North, then see Chaz… I just did 35% all the way around, turned out great… watch for a pic thread if this weather ever breaks!

Oh and sorry never heard of Ceramic tint, just of mettalic and non-metallic… Non-mettalic from my experience is usually a little lest reflective and just more of a smoked look. Don’t know if it’s the same thing though?

first bass

My Best Friend’s Detail Shop is within walking distance from my house. I was gonna take my car down there until I heard about First-Bass.

The good part is if you come in 279 you can take the West End exit before the tunnels then the Woodville Avenue exit and that shop is right on that road.

Alright thx guys, looks like i will be heading up to Chaz
