taken from the MAIC thread:
LOTS OF PICTURES HERE:
so this weekend i UE’d two spots that have not been discussed here yet, one of them is a more commonly known place, the other is most likely non-existent to the lot.
both places are in central PA and can be easily accessed. they are about 20 min. apart. so i UE’d two spots that are relatively unheard of in less than 30 minutes. pretty cool. pm for further details if interested.
and there will be a video of us escaping Hall’s tower in a couple minutes, its uploading to youtube right now…
…and here it is: YouTube - Hall’s tower, the escape
the reason we had to “escape” was because some random person in a VW bug pulled in while we were on the roof and they DEFINITELY saw us. i wasnt about to wait around to see who they were or why they were there too
this is one of MANY Herr Family farms(as in Herr potato chips and A-Herr Park in Lancaster and basically every other Herr person in central PA). This farm has been abandoned for some period of time(>20 years) and has things inside of it dating for 8,9 even 10 decades. it is a PACK RAT’S DREAM! so much stuff EVERYWHERE. you do not touch floorboards the whole time you are in the house(literally) ill let the pictures speak for themselves.
(coming in from the back to this:)
(Earth Swallows Hurse)
(careful, no floor)
(gravity taking its toll on the lining of this jacket)
(no floor, stairs to nowhere)
(hott wheels)
this inside of the farm house is insane. newspapers and tons of other stuff stacked in 3-5 feet high ALL over the house, some from WWI, WWII, Vietnam, etc.
ill get more pics up in a couple minutes.
and fyi, this is what it looks like in the house with no flash:
(more out-of-date calendars)
Hall’s Tower is/has been burned several times, people have died falling down the elevator shaft, so it is condemned/abandoned/private/etc.
the Herr Farm is literally dead center of my old hometown(i lived there for 18 years and did not know about it, so i can see why it would be easy to keep a secret)
see here:
…if you google map oyster point pa and zoom all the way in and scroll N on stony battery road a little bit you can see the farm complex…the four buildings in the woods with the cars/jeeps behind it. its LITERALLY like 50 yards off 2 main roads in lancaster,pa. my high school was literally 5 miles down stony battery road
egh, i havent been “charged” with anything in almost 4 years…trespassing with a dig. camera isnt high on the priority list in central pa…if we were stealing wire/copper, i could see it being a problem, but most pigs dont want the paper work, or to fight “historians” in court…tho the “bigger” more “dangerous” complexes(like state hospitals/asylums) are def. places you can get picked up in
