apparently Apples quality control missed this one. A lot of people are reporting yellow screens on their phones. Apparently apple uses quite a few different suppliers for them.
I wonder if they’ll recall/repair them.
I read about this. The have more of a yellow feel because Apple thought the first gen iPhone was a bit too cool on the color scheme so they decided to warm it up. Perhaps too much cyan then… :gotme:
i dunno, the 3g screen in that pic looks like a shit sandwich compared to the first gen.

this happens with lots of major electronics. to mass produce them they get multiple production companies and you get shitty results some times.
Nintendo was smart and controlled their production tightly and didn’t give it out to the lowest bidders which is why the demand for Wii’s was so high for so long.
