Sony KD-34XBR960 34" Flat Screen CRT TV

This is for a friend:

I’m selling this because I have to move and can’t carry it with me. It’s an amazing TV, the best Sony has ever made, and still considered to be the best TV ever next to the new Pioneer Kuro plasmas. A little background: it’s one of the last CRT’s ever made, it supports HDMI, 480p/720p/1080i, has a built in subwoofer, etc. This is the earlier model (not the 960N), and thus has the antiglare coating that is considered more desirable. It does weigh over 200lbs, so as much as I can help you get it to your vehicle, I can’t do much more. It’s in excellent condition. This TV should serve you for time to come; the defective ones were mostly replaced under warranty by now (a few years back when the set came out).

I calibrated this (after much reading), and it has amazing picture quality. I will include the documentation on how to do this, if you’d like. I’ve added a slot in the rear to access the manual focus adjustment, should you be interested. The calibration adjustments are a little tricky, but if you read the guides, write down the existing settings, and have some patience, you can correct nearly any small discrepancy.

Price is $425 with the matching stand. Nothing else in the picture is included (obviously…but some people would probably expect a Dipset hat or plant or something). Come take a look!

P.S. There’s no HD source currently connected (PS3 and cablecard got moved with me), so if you’d like to see the TV’s abilities, please bring the source of your liking.
