I don’t go digging for this stuff… it just finds me
I can’t check out the actual article on Gamespot (darn work proxies), but one quote I was able to get:
In its defense, Sony said the PS3 failures were caused by unusually high temperatures created by having many of the next-gen consoles operating in close proximity to each other. ‘It’s not a problem with the PlayStation 3 unit itself,’ Sony spokeswoman Nanako Kato told the AP. 'For a normal player at home, there shouldn’t be any problem.
I believe this is in regards to the PS3 kiosks that Sony is setting up. And all of this cause a 2.75% slide in Sony’s stock. I don’t know why… my trust in the company is higher than ever :gotme:
The only reason the PS3 might outsell the 360 is due to the much larger fan base that Sony has. Do you want to look at world wide numbers or only US sales? If you look at worldwide numbers, of course the PS3 will outsell… Japan will give them that alone.
The reall number to look at is the % of installed units at the end of the fiscal year. Over the last few years, Sony has of course ruled this category, but MS has made a consistent increase each year. I would not be surprised if this time around, there’s a huge jump when you compare the 2.
Joe, take your $50 you want to bet with someone on this and go gamble online before Bush and his goombas make it illegal for you. Any intelligent person would not make that bet with you… it would be like betting that Bush will not say something stupid in his next press conference.
Multiple posts in one week??? Who are you and what did you do to the real Raven?
