Humans almost find it necessary to put a label on something that can’t be explained.

You see/hear weird things at night that are out of place and can’t be explained, ghosts.
You see/hear weird things in the sky that you can’t explain, aliens.
You see/hear things that you can’t explain at all, God.

Yet out of all three things I listed there is no public record or public proof that either one even exists at all. Just a bunch of stories driven by fear, emotion, and the unexplained.

It’s been like that forever, it’s just human nature.

Most of the Egyptian stories we hear are laughable now (such as the Amun Ra IIRC - with the sky chariot) but then again we follow the same logic as they did explaining things now.

Whether it be god or big bang we come up with something to fill the understandable, not matter how ridiculous it might sound.

Exactly. Dosn’t matter what it is.

I am not saying these things are not possible. Actually I believe that there is no way that there is not alien life out there. Whether it be microbial or intelligent. The universe is just way to massive to think otherwise.

But to think they are trekking across the universe just to make an appearance in the night sky without initiating further contact is ridiculous.
