now that is funny…
although really, if you are just passing through and aren’t going to spend any time, why bother? Find something convenient on your route outside of a major city that is going to be a heck of a lot cheaper.
did you think about Chattanooga, not too far from Atlanta, not sure where you are actually going. Asheville is nice to stop in for a night but is probably pretty close to your starting point.
I just want to stop have a nice dinner, walk the town, then hit the sheets.
LOTS of good restaurants in ATL. If you want to do something moderately interesting, don’t look OTP (outside the perimeter). Plenty of places you can stay and grab good eats though.
what part of the outer banks are you going to?
From what I saw down in Montgomery AL its was boring as shit…
I live in ATL and highly recommend stoping if you’ve never been here. What day of the week are you planning on stopping?
I didn’t realize there were so many of us in NYSpeedSouth :mamoru:
ATL, I was just there for a few days last week for work. The aquarium is very cool, but like $27 admission, unless you go at the end of the day (like 4pm) and it was only $10 because they were only open for another hour. I’ve heard the zoo and the coke world tour is fun.
The Aquarium is the best IMO, go early in the morning before it fills up with rugrats. The viewing window in to whateverthefuck they call the thing with the whale sharks is just badass.
if your down there for a few days, I would do city pass.
