G/F has to transfer to Atlanta or Florida for autotrader with an increase in pay(same at either location). Just want to hear what you guys think if you would prefer one over the other. I on the other hand sell cars so i can do that anywhere. Any helpful input will be greatly appreciated! Arron (s/c black rsx) keeps telling me to go to ATL guess he loves it there. Only positive leaning me towards Fl is I will be 30 min drive to the water, where in Atlanta its a few hour drive, and I love water sports! Cost of living seems to be a tad bit lower in ATL though. So im kinda torn, thanks!
what part of FLorida?
this matters most…
Same question.
Preliminary answer is Florida though.
Tampa/sarasota sorry…
Tampa is alright. Gasperilla is awesome haha. I’d say they’re pretty close to the same atmosphere and cost of living though.
talk to Skunkypoo on this one too…he moved to Tampa for a few months but moved back
I love living in Atlanta. I’ve never had any experience in FL though, but I have also lived in New England, Rochester, Ithaca, Memhpis and Chicago so I’ve been around a bit. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
my dad lives in Bradenton off of Route 64, Tampa is very busy and a lot of traffic, I am not sure about the tampa area as far as living. I would look at clearwater/st. Pete rather than tampa, again depending on the area in each.
Bradenton/Sarasota is a great area as long as you stay out of certain parts, St. Armands Circle is a nice area but $$$$. Bradenton Beach down to lido beach is all very nice even if you live more inland it’s like 10 minutes to a beach. If you choose this area then send me an address and I can tell you what it is like around there.
I’d hate to say I lived in Georgia or Florida. EW.
I’ve lived in California and NY. I don’t think I’d live anywhere else ( maybe specific parts of Jersey, specific parts of Colorado, parts of Vermont )
Nice thing about FL - no income tax. However I’m sure that property costs, and taxes are far higher.
my dad got an awesome deal on the water, 40k for the lot back in 99’ of course the cost now would probably be up around 125k, not sure for property taxes
yea cal… if its gonna be tampa…talk to me
Me personally i would go with ATL area specifially I like Powder Springs a friend who I use to work with went there and really likes it and from what I have seen looks like a great place to live.
FL is cool and all but just so damn expensive to live there.
ok, thanks everyone i will miss b-lo =( but not the taxes or snow…
florida is a no state income tax state fyi.
Move to VA when I do
my sis lives in stone mtn and loves it. Shes been in GA for 15 or 16 years now. My wife also loves to visit there and wants to move asap. ATL is hot but I was miserble in floida this summer. it was hotter than hell
I love atlanta. My friend lived on Boulevard off Freedom parkway it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. Now he lives in Decatur and Little Five Points is only 10 minutes away at most.
<3 ATL
lived there for 5 years, plenty of watersports on lake lanier(sp?)
or panama city is 4 hours away
edit, lived about 10 mins outside of the city near stone mtn
