spark plug tech ?'s

longer the bottom of the plug the colder…that correct?

i’m having a hell of a time getting plugs for the motor in jims truck i keep getting different ones every time i look it up for a dif year but i’ve settled on AC’s R44t’s from what i can tell it’s got 3 different length plugs (not ceramic section the metal section) in it and i was told that designates heat range.

use r43ts

what’s the difference in heat range? i can’t imagine them bein colder…they a hotter plug? what’s the benefit cuz i got 2 of these damn engines here and both have r44ts

its 3.928338232332 celcius cooler

In Those Plugs Lower#=colder

so why would i want to run a colder plug?

so when spray it!

lol i’m not sprayin the trucks…haha

if the colder plug fits, Use it :slap:

i have colder plugs in it now and it’s driving me nuts cuz they’re goin bad on me…but the 44ts i stole off my dad aren’t doing that

use some bosche + 2 or +4

oooo yeah i’ll go do that ribht now

fuck if i care, just a suggestion

lol platinums suxor

yeah if you spray :stick:

use 44 then

mmk, thanks for clearing that up.

so basically he answered his own question :shaggy:

i run the r44ts or the Champion rv17yc in my truck. the champion has a slightly longer reach comared to the AC.

well the autolites that were in there (while trying to get the truck to run) no longer arc off the electrode but off the tip instead they’re all screwed up and half don’t fire…they’re only 3 days old
