A strip club is in the works near the North Shore casino, but it probably will have to do battle with some North Side community groups for the right to move in.
An application has been filed with the city for conditional use approval to open the club at 1025 Beaver Ave. only a few blocks from the Majestic Star casino, which is to be built on the Ohio riverfront just west of the Carnegie Science Center.
It is funny, and but even funnier that people are getting really upset about the possibility of having one there, saying it’ll deteriorate the (already trashed) North Shore. Within a 2 mile radius there are three clubs already doing well…have they forgotten that?
they dont care, people seem to think strip clubs = prostitution.
Prostitutes are on lonely corners where its nice and dark so the police cant grab them up. Besides they cant really compete w/ some of the girls in the club.
Strip clubs are straight up hated by the lonely wifeys at home…or the guys who dont have $$.
