not sure where to ask this but here we go. where can i buy a dial bore indicator for cylinder walls, micrometers, honing rocks and ridge reamer (spelling?)

online: travers https://www.travers.com/Default.asp

wow…dial bore indicators cost 1g? fuck that

harbor freight has most of what you’ve listed, and thensome. Cheap. Reliable enough for casual use.

There’s your bore gauge. god not a ridge reamer.

what are you trying to do with it? if you want it to be accurate you got to pay to play.

you could always get something made in china for next to nothing. but it will be garbage.

you realize you need some kind a ring guage to set the bore guage to right?

im putting together an engine and im checking all the clearances myself.

thank you

Anthony, find out if snap on makes a dial bore indicator. If they do you can buy it through me at my discount

also where can i purchase plastigauge?

would napa have it?

we’ll see.

Meh well if you want good quality and don’t wanna front all the cash at once, I’m the way to go.

are you doing any machining to the engine? if your just checking the bore size you dont need anything more than an inside mic set.

plasti gauge.

the engine spun a rod bearing so i’m checking everything. if it needs to be machined it will be taken somewhere. does sears sell inside mic sets?
