Helmets mandatory?? Since when dose shannonville require you to wear a helmet? I was just there at the end of April with 30 cars and no one wear a helmet, same thing last year and the year before. Honestly who the hell can fit into a 240 with a helmet? I’m 6"1 and can’t fit with stock seats or even gtr seats.

You are correct, Shannonville does not require them.
The mandatory helmet rule is instituted by the organizer for safety. We feel that anyone driving or riding as passenger at speed on a racetrack should be wearing one. We feel so strongly that we provide loaner helmets for those who do not own one.
I am also 6’1", and I remember when I tracked my s13 with stock seats my helmet was almost touching the sunroof. But even so, I was happy that the helmet was between my head and the roof.
