yeah prob something like that. its not fast by any means but i think it will be a lot more fun once i get the cam/converter setup
right now its just a tire slayer on anything over half throttle with these 265 width tires in back
ugh as much as i REALLLLLLY want this thing to get a turbo setup i just cant let myself dump another 8-10k into the truck. not to mention all the other stuff that is bound to break once i would run 600whp through the chassis/drivetrain.
i think the cam/converter setup will be a nice hp gain and put me a lot closer to the 400hp mark for around 1k

i found a set of truck rally wheels on craigslist that im trying to scoop up.
they are a 15x6.5 and 15x8 setup that need some serious loving too
all said and done i should be able to have two complete set of wheels for $400 or less

so yesterday i finally got the center caps and lugs in the mail…
fitted the center caps and put the wheels on then just did a quick torque with a 1/2 ratchet
so ive never had this happen before but maybe the first one was a fluke?

i obviously didnt feel safe running those crappers so i called to complain and was refunded right away actually.
so thats nice.
called the local VatoZone and they could get the ones i needed next day but wouldnt let me just pay over the phone…
sooooo i had to hustle and put the 18" fronts back on and jam over there before they closed.
picked up the new lugs on my lunch break and put the fronts after work tonight.
only snapped a quick pic before i went out and did burnouts all around the block…you know to test that the wheels were seated. :lol:
has a lot more “presence” now. Looks great. Vids of heaters or it didn’t happen
