Spin knobs/Drift knobs/buttons or whatever! Issues?

I’ve read quite a few horror stories about having the “button” get stuck or pull out the e-brake “button”.
Anyone have issues or experiences with that? I picked up a Bing’s one last year but I’ve been reluctant to put it on cause of what I had read.

But I figured maybe like everything else, it may be in the quality of the part? (regardless of how simple it is)

/flamesuiton!

They work, just don’t be an idiot when you put it on, don’t use a hammer to smash it on too far.

Put it on, lock the ebrake, use it.

I’ve had mine on and off no problem.

Then a buddy put it on his car, and ripped his button right off

yeah dont hammer it one even if its seams like it wont fit it hammered mine off and yes i ripped the whole button out then i tried to take it out

lol @ hammer, none of the instructions/videos I saw involved a hammer. Has anyone successfully taken it off without ripping out the button?

yeah i got mine off oneeightzero and i only hammered it off because my original button had a chunk out of it so it didnt wanna fit right… but really once it on why take it off

well just in case you would ever want to take it off. Thanks

I had one and took it off with out issue. I didn’t care to have the thing in good shape after, So i put some vice grips on it and pulled and twisted. No issues.

Why is it only people from Oshawa who’s had experience with drift knobs ? LOL

i had one, took it on and off all the time, never had any issues with it

Cadence, you are a pussy, Take a risk, try soemthing. whats the worst that could happen.

Pulling out the e-brake button, and having no e-brake…again LOL

Sorry Dylan, I’m not as cool as you; I don’t have multiple cars to throw around. I’m still in school… lol

Can’t have this “being called a pussy” bullshit. Gonna have to slap that fucker on, and wreck my car at Shannonville this season learning lol!

Don’t forget to pull the tabs back so your not fighting the spring.
