I heard that stock (and mildly modded) 911’s can just leave it in 3rd at The Glen and get pretty decent times. how true is that? Does that apply well to other Porsches?
*I heard this from my friend’s dad, who drives his 928 S4 down there every once in a while.

I’ve heard similar stories but I do not actually know if there is any truth behind this. I’d be VERY surprised if you could get through the toe of the boot in 3rd. Other than the toe and bus stop I suppose it’s doable (though you’d be lifting on the straights).
