sr downpipe!

the question is about the downpipe, as i see do i need a longer downpiper to connect with exhaust?
Or the stock one will be ok?And in the wastegate there is two holls, i know that one is going to the turbo knowing that the waste gate needs pressure, but what about the other holl?:slight_smile: it is kind frustate but i don’t care i am learning:D .
And if you guys can tell me what i need to get it working right on my car i’ll be really happy!

… you bought a turbo kit and you have no clue what is required to run it? never mind the fact that you bought a SSautocrome turbo kit…

welcome to the world of custom fabrication, you now need a top mount down pipe and a WG return pipe into the DP. however seeing as it’s a SSautocrome kit, I know I won’t touch it with a 10 ft pole and any shop with a lick of sense wouldn’t either. The larger turbo also requires a higher flow cat and exhaust, you need new oil and water lines. New CAI, a larger MAF, new IC piping, a larger IC, larger injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and a piggyback or standalone ECU.

You may be learning but that’s no excuse for jumping into a purchase without learning about what is required and the quality of the product… thats common sense.

oh, FYI… you’ve got that WG and dump pipe mounted backwards. and the DP is upside down…

I am getting everything a need to run that!
And other question is about the ecu. Is the minus code#62 a good one to use with that setup?
And where can i get the water and oil line for that, and for how much?

Is this SSautocrome kit a good one? As a little i know it is the lowest quality one? Am i right or wrong? I mean that it is not as good as hks, greddy, aem or other good brands out there!

go out and buy yourself a book called ’ Maximum Boost’ by Corky Bell.

This will hopefully help you to understand the basics and key elements of what is required to turbo charge an engine.

thats about the best advice, with the level of knowledge you have, I can give you…

Besides that, SSautocrome/XSpower/stone mountain…(and whatever other names they sell under on Ebay) is of very poor quality… it defies description how poor it is actually…

That quality can bite you in the ass, turbo system failures can blow/damage an engine internally…

Are you talking abou the turbo itself or the header too?

well the mechanical parts are going to be the major cause of any internal damage… the fabricated parts will simply crack/break… and additional welding on the fabricated parts will just speed up the failure of the metal. As was said… crap…
