SR seriese

ok mang here is deal.
I see red tops with fins and without fins. what are they
I see black tops and their blocks are diffrent slopes down at the end compare to straight block of red top.
I know the year diffrence but trying to see if Iam right.
so here goes. Black top with slope down block ALL has Variable valve timing.
and all Red tops do not have VVT. and Black top is just better than red top in any possible ways. am I right or what:(

sigh…

okay red top without fins = original sr’s
red top with fins = later sr’s
black top without the slant at the back = no vvt and was in an s13 all the way to 1998
black top with the slant = has vvt and was in s14 or s15

and no red top not necessarily better then black top.
most people steer clear of the vvt sr’s

And thats because the later Sr’s are more abused due to drifting getting more and more popular? or the price diffrence… Just curious…

well there a bit harder to swap in for one

and if anything, ide think red tops would be more abused

lots of amateur drifters in japan woud leanr on those motors, and there cheaper to, so if you ever killed one in japan, its a better choice ot have financially

thanks guys
