i believe you have to just swap out everything from the ca18 one into the sr one. i know mark did it but i can’t remember if it was with a ka tranny for the longer gears
did some more reading, and you can swap the ka internals over into the ca bellhousing
no internals…just swap the bell housings for the KA,CA,SR to be compatable…the SR, and KA have the wider 5th gear, so better for higher top speeds…also a newer rear end 91+ will also help a higher top speed…i am currently running a KA tranny, and 92 s13 rear end…and i love how wide 5th gear is now…
i have to admit, i do hate the 5th gear on the ca18. really after 4th its over and there really isn’t anymore pull and it stops
you prob herd of people swaping the KA internals to the RB20 tranies.
