I’m trying to get my car model to be as photorealistic as possible. I modelled this from the ground up in a 3D rendering program except for the rims and interior (which were pre-made).
As far as I know I’m only missing one of the posts in the bumper vents and nissan emblem on the hood.
If something doesn’t look right to you, I wanna hear it.
reflection of the ground on the door doesn’t look accurate. The ground is obviously very rough and it doesn’t come through at all. Not sure if that’s the type of feedback you’re looking for but figured I would throw it out there.
Looks close. The shadows in the background are going in a different direction. The reflection changes at the driver’s door / fender. Other than that, it looks pretty good.
Yeah I see what you mean. The panorama image for the reflections is a blurred out version of the background image - I should be able to improve that in the render settings.
The sun looks to be on the driver front fender as well, but the roof and hood are shadowed and the car shadow is coming forward. The body lines seem to require more definition or something its too smooth almost.
I see what you mean. It kinda looks not as tapered on the front (and rear too). I rushed the mirrors and front lip so those will be first to be redone.
After I stop OCDing with the details, I’m going to rig it for animation
If only I could just 3d model a new gas tank for my actual kouki…
Am I the only one who clicked on the picture took a quick look and said nice car, then after reading the thread figured out it wasn’t real?
Looks good to me.
