State Police setting up road blocks.

As much as it sucks, you can’t blame law enforcement for what their doing because anyone else would do the same thing to make money. If anything, blame yourself for not having the proper parts on it to make it pass. Departments are driven off revenue so of course in anyway they can their going to do stops like this where it targets certain individuals on the streets.

As long as your bike is legit and your wearing a proper helmet and obviously have a license or are with a license rider, it shouldn’t be that big of a headache. Everyone obviously knows about it so it shouldn’t be a shock to you if you get a ticket, you’ve had ample time to get your bike in check.

I about flipped the fuck out when i heard that shit on newegg im ready to fuckin move even if its to mass I build a pc a few times a year from newegg, and now they gonna tax

fuck new pork 1000000000%

PS IF your riding your bike with a group doing nothing wrong and they make everyone stop…as in come to a complete stop and check you, its illegal. Not joking, take the ticket and bring it up in court theyll drop it.

doesnt stop them from writing them though. There was a group of id say like 10 choppers. some sick ones i drove by and there were 3 cops and they were handing tickets to all of them from what i could see.

Please ellaborate on how that is illegal. They are doing a safety check. So you mean to tell me when they do trucker mandatory stops to check truckers for their tires, and not exceeding weight or if they are doing mandatory seatbelt and inspection check points that’s illegal too? That’s exactly what they are doing this weekend is a safety check. Your statement doesn’t make any sense.

yes, i am referring to “I-87.” :tong

since when have i run 87 octane fuel in anything i own? ::slight_smile:

agreed as well.

this is all to generate revenue. this state is more money/ tax hungry by the day.

threatning to write bikers up for aftermarket exhausts is kinda silly though IMO.

yea thats mad gh3y i can understand helmets and tires and the basics but exhaust ahhhh please

was in vermont today apparently they are upping cigs there too in july, because of new york

There is a diff between this and seatbelt checks…in this they totally stop the bikers and check their papers…in seatbelt checks they are still moving and just watch everyone to make sure. Your not allowed to detain just everyone on a motorcycle without reason its illegal. They can however reroute motorcycles and let them ride through a specific place and check ones that are “suspicious”

i saw 6 bikers all pulled over on Rt. 2 heading towards watervliet, it was dark so i didnt see the bikes? they were there for a while… i went to work and came back, still sitting there. must have been something else besides tickets goin on. Anyone one here in that group? just wondering why they were there for an hour.

im sure no one cares at this point but in between exit 17 and 18 northbound theres a little rest stop. mandatory bike pull off with 6+ cops there and a few in the U turn. idk if they will do it tommorow or whatever but they were there for most of today. have a fun ride

word thanks for heads up

Anyone up for a 180mph+ tobogan run past the 5-0 up there?

Hard to outrun a chopper.

Unless you’re in Eleanor…

“This is an A-Star sir, not an Apache.” :lol

I do believe that the State Police helicopters have top speeds of about 150mph. I’ll ask the pilot next time I run into one.

Harder to outrun a road block.

Not really a load block since it’s on the highway. You can just “forget” to pull over into the rest area and your throttle coincidentally gets stuck at WOT. ;D

I guess that would explain the “150, 160…he’s gone” from the movie.

:lol
