He creates more time when he leaves the pocket, As long as it takes him to do his drop, 3 step and throw that is roughly 2.5 seconds. a lot of times he doesn’t even have that much time. The defensive line man dont stand there and count 1 mississippi 2mississippi etc… How many times have you been behind center taking snaps in a live football game?
