Todd I promised you more pics when I got time well here they are…She is rough but the frame rails on it are SOLID…I couldnt pass up on the deal either and a special thanks goes out to Brian and Guffey for getting towed to my place.
It is a 69 nova 327 4 spd car .It was a track car for many years so the miles were low not tht it matters alot…the 327 has dart heads ,headers ,and the tunnel ram with 2 holley 500cfm carbs.
The muncie was pulled out of it and it has a 350 turbo trans now…
The Body is rough…but alot is savagable it needs a floorpan on driverside and the center section of the truck replaced…the old hillbilly I got it off of gave me 2 southern fender clean as a whistle and a trunk lid with no rust and one small dent…doors are solid…rockers are good well useable…
Its gonna be alot of work to get her back to good condition but I got nothin but time
You might be right as I don’t know what is definitively accepted in the community, but I was reading about them and most of the history I found went like this:
1G: 62-65 Chevy II
2G: 66-67 Chevy II Nova
3G: 68-74 Chevy Nova
ya but i thought 62-67 was pretty much the same body style, and was the same generation. like how 93-02 camaros are 4th gens but wiht a slight change in bodys in 98 and up
Someone knows more than me about the actual changes, but you can see the differences in the rear pillar and faschias for sure. What I’ve read says the 66/67 was considered a full re-design, but someone on here has to know to what degree parts were actually changed.
yeah I found it on ebay …I was looking at one in arizona but shipping was a pain…It is a 3rd gen nova I really only liked the 3rd gens.My uncle has a few of them and I was always impressed by them. I found a set of GM 1/4s for a decent price…Ill be picking them up in the near future
my brother should be home in days from the military. he has shit everywhere, body pieces, chrome pieces, knows ppl that have parts for em. soo ill find out asap for ya!!
