That isnt the point. Both teams suck, just like college football. Support your local team, a team that has a chance at winning(unlike Pitt). I just mess with Cutty about Pitt because he will defend them in every argument, but loves to down the Steelers. When it comes down to it, all fb teams have weaknesses, but Pitt did not deserve that Bowl game. WVU did not deserve the Gator bowl. The Steelers deserve to win though. They have alot of talent and they use it well.

I think the match up was stupid. why have undefeated auburn play VT and undefeated utah play pitt. let the two undefeateds duke it out and have the two teams with a past, pitt and VT, play eachother. there is a potential for three undfeated teams this year which is stupid, in college hoops there is only one team that can go undefeated. And who from the this far east is gonna travel to AZ to see a relatively pointless game. having a national championship game makes the other 3 bowls pointless. Maybe pitt in the sugar or orange would have gotten many more pitt fans in the stadium. i don’t blame people who didn’t fly to AZ to see pitt play fuckin utah. yeah they crushed pitt but they are still utah, who gives a fuck. Now say pitt vs miami or michigan, then i say get your ass out there and see that game. The BCS has made things worse, its was better when all 4 of those games were on Jan 1 and there were split titles.

yeah, the Big east is depleted. but Pitts till beat BC, NotreDame and WVU…i dont think they r bad teams. like i said they had a respectable season, they r young team (in terms of their stars atleast)…they r not great, but still deserve their props.
