Also, you have to remember that the Pats had NO time outs left. 1:15 and no time outs isnt exactly the easiest situation to get a FG with. Especially at Heinz field which is notorious for kickers. He did? what year was that? pitt’s last national championship was 1976, dan marino was like a sophmore at central. Matt Cavanagh was the QB. Dan did however have 3 consecutive 11-1 seasons at pitt. they should have been national champs in 80. If he wasn;t all PERKED up he might have won the heisman his senior year… drugs were the reason the steelers wouldn’t take him but he was able to keep his habit under control.

one is 250…the other is 300…both doing lineman duties…who is going to win.
probably 8 times outta 10 the heavier guy cause he can use that extra weight to his advantage.
now if your dropping the weight to gain more speed & mobility then that might help…but it all depends on what type of lineman…offensive, defensive, type of system your in etc…
some guys aren’t very skilled & the weight & ability to move with it is their skill/advantage
