Might be going up to my camp in East Springfield his weekend. Elk Creek is less than a mile from the camp. Walnut is a few more.

well ill be going up saturday morning…

and prob one day next week

Spangs, you go up yet this year?

I’m going up Saturday AM after Thanksgiving. Will be there until Monday evening. My father in law’s camp is at Folly’s End on Elk.

i almost always fish Elk, i can’t stand the crowds on Walnut unless you go way up stream. Its hard to flyfish walnut also.

i’m really disappointed in myself for not getting up there but i went by Mckean the other day and people were fishing that far up already.

**** son i have gone up at least once opr twice a week.

here some pics…one of the many kings i caught in new york. 38 inch 25lb 25in around… all caught on the fly…

i also have getting mounted right now… a 31 inch 14 lb hook nose brown trout…i usually practice catch and release…but he inhaled a 2/0 skaget spey fly…and started bleeding out…so he is the first to go on my wall…

and had to take one salmon home…for the smoker…

i useually hit smaller streams unnamed and unnamed…every once in awhile ill go on elk…

and for the fun of it at the end of the day take who every i have up with me to park atthe wall at walnut as we eat and have a beer and watch the wall lizzards fight and bitch for the christmas express steelheads (fish with so much power bait and lures stuck into them they look like a xmas tree)

swinging the two hander fly pole!..jeah…

i actually been doing some “caugh guiding” been very good this year…help pay for my trips and some extra loot in the pocket and fun watching someone hook into a steelie for the first time.

im gonna look to get registered as an offical guide next year.

i live up there
