catch any pittsburgh white fish?

i got a 10 inch white fish one time, i really crush the whitefish during the week of the regatta

damn them carp are ugly although they do fight pretty good, what were you using to catch them?

white bread lol
works everytime, for carp i’ll make doughball or just use bread,
river>creek fishing

yeah doughballs are great for carp, i was fishing one time with a few other guys and my buddy was using doughballs, he likes carp he caught one at least 30 pounds about 40 inches long fought like hell on 10lb test

i got down mon city sometimes with doughballs, now those carp are BIG

  Are you sure you know what Allegheny White Fish are?

dont be a tool, i just got done complementing you on ripping first bass a new one and you ask a question that most 6th graders know

That might be the “new school” version of the allegheny white fish, but it isn’t what I know them as.

im waiting for some TROUT fishing out raccoon this weekend. im gonna be one of those idiots up at 4am saturday morning:)

While wating for my car to dry I went up to our pond…didn’t catch anything but I did see a bunch of bluegill, 2 ducks, 3 common carp, 2 mirror carp, and the koi I caught last year,…

hit me up whne you go down there right buy my crib ill fish for carp

there fun

i went today cought 3 trout a bass and a turtle at a catch and release pond that the janiter at southmoreland has

I haven’t had time in the past year. definitely going Saturday on Bens Creek near Johnstown. Great trout stream. Going for steelhead in Erie at some point. Never went for steelhead before.

Been tossing around the idea of getting a Chesapeake charter for Bluefish or Trout. Would anyone be up for it? It’s so hard to get people to give a definite yes.

The best is using hot dogs and an ultralight for carp. Wear a leather glove and handline them half of the time.

when im down the river in mon city i catch sheephead all the time ( maybe steelhead too, not sure)
i’ve heard corn work GREAT, never tried it before with carp, corn just seems too light to use in the current even with a slipper weight

me and my friend are gonna go this Saturday if any one is interested…

i’m tryin to either go to the Loyalhanna Dam or lakeside, or the Connemaugh damn resovour and hit up some PIKE action hopefully!!

I went this morning down the mon, caught about 6 or 7, 1 smallmouth and the rest were white bass and small hybrid stripers. Here is the best one, maybe 12 inches if im lucky
