It depends. Not sure why people think AWD means definate traction. Depending on the power/suspension/tires, it might be bad. I just SPIN and SPIN. Also, bogging is almost a gauranteed loss.

It’s possible. Seems like an awfully lot for just those two mods. I raced a guy from the LS1.Com CT group who had about heads/intake/exhaust/headers/some other mod includin DRs and cut 1.7 60’s who went 12.2-12.3 @ 112-113. WS6 too.

its all weight to power… i guess if you stripped it down enough and weighed the same it would all driving but… i would have to see it to believe it.
just doesn’t make sense in my big head… guess i just dont fully understand it… i’m seen integras with 300 hp beat awd cars with 400 hp… or 400 hp civic aniliate a viper?
Rubin ran 11’s on the stock head as well. He now has cams, valave springs, retainers.
Power to weight really means dick. Area under the curve > power to weight.
Blanket statements is the problem. You can’t just say: AWD should just go from a dig or 500HP Car A > 500Hp Car B. There’s more to it than that. Gearing, aerodynamics, weight, power curve, etc…
Also, how shaving 600LBS from any car is quite doable. 
… i know awd cars are an awesome platform to build on… all i was saying is that going from a 30 mph roll or a dig would benefit and make it a much more of an equal race… blah i give up… i lose :headbang

shawn I dont know where your getting your info from but I have seen more then a handfull of stock LS1 M6’s break into the 12’s at lebannon…the A4’s are more in the 13.0-13.3 range…
maybe your talking about the LS1 z28’s/firehawks???
The SS/WS6 have more power then your regular z28’s/firehawks…and mine has more power then your regular SS because its the SLP performance upgraded one.
still tho, my car feels to me like its much faster then it should be with its current mods…is it possible my heads are ported?? I know its not cammed from what I hear with it idling…could be possible tho depending on what cam?? I have ridden in many ls1’s and it seem’s to pull harder then your average bolt on one for some reason???

theirs just something that seem’s a little bit fishy to me about my car…it runs too good for its current Factory mods.
car is fast… no doubt about it… love the Ws6’s and the SS’s… nice cars and fast… i would have no doubt your car would pull that one out.
take it to redline and get it dynoed. I’m sure they will be able to give you an idea of what may be done to it based on the numbers you put down.
