From everything I have read, most LS1 are in the MID/LOW 13s on average NOT 12s as you indicated. What exactly is the difference between LS1 Z28s/Firehawk vs what you are talking about?

he walked my car because i was in the bottom of second gear, id dig race with him and i bet i’ll keep up, your car isnt a freak or anything, thats just how the ls1’s are, its one thing to be quick, like your v6t but the ls1 is fast, and your “slp” ss really isnt much off a z28 or trans am. prolly like 10rwhp difference. Richies ws6 is fast, but mind you he takes VERY good care of it, it only has 32k on the clock. He has a very good running ls1 and a 12.7 is right around where he should be.
that trap does sound a little high, i would think a 110 or 112 with the ws6.
The slp edition is a free flowing exhaust and an intake, not much to it. What people dont know is that the 01-02 z28s, trans ams, ss, and ws6 have are the ls6 intake,compared to the 98-00 the las6 intake manifold is def worth 10rwhp over the stock ls1 intake. ANdrews SS should dyno 320-330rwhp so 12s are def obtaniable.

lt1? he had a v6turbo before, which was quick, but its def a different feeling than the ls1, i guess is what im trying to say.
when i got the car yesterday, i was kinda dissapointed cause it didnt feel nearly as fast as my V6 did…but my girlfriend told me other wise…
well after the run last night its obvious that the car is faster then my v6
I also have 43k on the clock…and its obvious whoever owned it, took care of it. I havent found a flaw in it yet besides some dog hair on the back seat haha

if so that race makes perfect sense, especially since the camaro probably pulls harder top end then the sti. You cant compare my car against travis and your car against travis because my car is totally different, get some stickys on that thing and we’ll dig race and see if that car is a freak or not, i doubt it i jus think your not used to the power.

it does, its got gears, tune, and an exhaust, and spec stage 4 x… on the ET streets. his new engine isnt near completion yet, but thats a big block, big power engine.
i honestly dont think that the v6t is faster than this car, close but the SS is faster
the SS is nicer, and a better starting platform IMO.

I recall that also and i believe it was plaf and travis claiming that. I wouldn’t doubt the v6T would’ve broke 11’s, with some sticky tires and a fixed tranny it would’ve broke 11’s, but then again the v6T was about even if not a little faster than Travis’ STI and apparently the SS walked the STI soo…
without a doubt the v6-t was a slower car… the SS is a torquey bitch. my car also FEELS to be running better lately… but thats negligible. boostin pulled me by about 3/4 of a car last night… there will be a rematch.

If the SS is faster, that V6T was seriously FUCKED and you guys are FUCKED for thinking it would go 11s.
theirs no way in hell that it was a 11 second car how it was sitting the day before the turbo went…at most, it would have hit high high 12’s on a real good run…
but if I had a fixed tranny,torque converter, methanol and a dyno tune and drag radials theirs no doubt in my mind that the car would have atleast went low 12’s all day long consistantly…
how my turbo V6 was before the turbo over spun compared to my SS…I feel they are close up top, but the SS hauls some serious ass down low…overall, the SS is a faster car…
my SES light came on today in it. Dodge world must have shut it off because its a catylic converter bank 1 sensor (forgot the code) so I figured maybe my cat was going bad…stuck my head under the car and couldnt find any cats to save my life???
